Project Manager (power)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• 10+ yrs experience in a technical environment, focus on energy represents an advantage.
• 5+ yrs experience project managing and/or directing technological operations.
• Excellent understanding of project management principles.
• Proven experience in project planning, development and construction.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to electric energy issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, forecast requirements accurately, and stay within budget while producing and eliciting high-quality results.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.
• English language minimum C1 level, German language represents an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.

RESPONABILITIES/BENEFITS:
• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope
• Managing project budgets
• Minimizing risks of projects
• Identifying new project opportunities
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements according to relevant studies made in advance
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
• Organize meeting with contact persons
• Research on several criterion: geographical position, wind intensity and variability, natural reservations and electricity lines
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
• Designing micro-siting for projects
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
• Direct and supervise the project team.
• Select, contract, and oversee specialists who complete specific tasks of the development and construction of the project.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and development/ construction problems.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the development, construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
