NOC/Support engineer

Oberon Media is seeking for a Technician to our growing hosting operations team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for monitoring customer applications and Oberon's internal network systems in a Network Operations Center environment, (NOC) to ensure compliance with standards set in Service Level Agreements (SLA's)

The Oberon Game Center platform is the industry standard and has been adopted by leading corporations such as Yahoo, MSN, AOL, MySpace, Sprint, Verizon, EA, and WalMart - reaching over 120 leading websites and 75 million gamers.

Qualifications:

1+ years of previous technical support experience

1+ year of support experience in a high-volume, high-availability setting

Ability to multitask and perform well in pressure situations

Must be willing to perform shift work

Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies including W2K and IIS

Knowledge with CDNs (Akamai etc) a plus

Excellent communication, customer service, and team skills are an absolute must

High level English is a must both verbal and written. It is even more important than the technical skills.
