About the client:
The client builds state-of-the-art websites, intranets and portals for top 1000 companies (Vodafone, Heinz, CENTA), government departments (ministries of Economy and Education, schools) and innovative Small and Medium Enterprises. The client’s web solutions are the universal gateway for the management of website content, calendars, tasks, documents and other organization specific information systems. The company was founded in 1997 as a spin-off of the internet department of the European modem manufacturer and BBS pioneer.

About the project:

The projects within the company are for 2 weeks up to 2 months. The projects will almost always have the software solution PortalCMS info as starting point and will vary from small custom applications to extensive Enterprise Application Integration. The smaller projects you will do by yourself, the bigger ones in a team of 2 to 4 members. If you will work in a team you will be equal to the other developers with a Project Manager of the client. We expect you to code follow the rules (MVC, ORM, Object Oriented, SVN). The client works with clear Technical Designs in English, which will be provided well before the project starts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with internet technologies, preferably Java, ColdFusion and Flex
• HTML / CSS and AJAX
• XML
• MS SQL / MySQL
• MVC and ORM
• SVN (Tortoise)
• Software Architecture/Engineering/Design
• Affinity with Linux
