Software analyst/Technical writer for Maglar.
Software analyst/Techical writer:
The Documentation Team is looking for a Technical Writer to create new documentation of features comparison for leading enterprise software products including Help Desk, CMDB, Discovery, Change Management, Configuration Management and Release Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
∙ Fulfill roles as both a dedicated member of a company-wide documentation team and an integrated, co-located member of an engineering team that evaluates each enterprise software product.
∙ Work closely with engineering team members on a daily basis to provide feedback and documentation in short, two-week engineering sprints.
∙ Plan and track own work assignments and deliver assignments on schedule.
∙ Represent documentation team in engineering.
∙ Maintain current documentation set.
∙ Support manager in identifying process improvements.
∙ Collect and evaluate customer feedback on documentation requirements.
And/or
- Setting up necessary hardware/software environment
- Installing and configuring products
- Comparing features in competing products
- Creating feature comparison documents/analysis
- Participating in meetings with customers

We want to talk to if:
∙ You have at least five years experience writing technical documentation, ideally for large enterprise software systems.
∙ You have a strong command of English grammar and are able to self-edit.
∙ You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven engineering environment.
∙ Your technical aptitude allows you to learn new features, products, solutions quickly. You are able to grasp how features work and how they relate to other parts of the product. You love working with complex technical systems.
∙ You have written for a multitude of audiences – end users, administrators, system integrators, business managers, support and services organizations, partners and resellers.
∙ You have a clear writing style and superb content organization skills.
∙ You are able to manage writing tasks for multiple, overlapping product releases and deliver on schedule without compromising quality.
