Adstream Corporation is the leader in the sphere of service solutions for advertising and cross-media industry (TV, Radio, Print, Internet, outdoor, mobile) with offices based in Australia, United Stated, United Kingdom, Germany and other locations. We are currently extending our Kiev team to develop and support our software solutions and projects.

The main business scope of the company covers huge corporations, such as Nokia, Procter and Gamble (P&G), TV channels, agencies and publishing houses all over the world.

The projects we are on can be described as distributed server, web and desktop applications, developed by means of ASP.Net, C#, QT, SQL, Java, Web Services, Ajax, Flash and compatible with OS Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

We invite responsible, intelligent and professional people to take the challenge and apply for a "Script developer" full-time position in our company.

Position purpose:
Acting as a technical member of the team developing, integrating, testing and deploying new project branches.

You will be responsible for:
• Automation of the media transcoding/validation using external tools and automation of the file delivery, reporting and notifications;
• Media transcoding/validation templates development;
• Communication between two development teams Java and .Net for integration purposes;
• Deployment of solutions on to the live servers.

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor degree (IT preferred);
• Participating at least in 2 medium-large scale projects with a three-tier architecture;
• Technical English;
• Proactive, resourceful.

Highly desired skills:
• Strong experience in SOAP/REST web services testing;
• Good experience in using of XML/XSLT;
• Programming experience in either scripting or object oriented language;
• At least basic knowledge of HTML/JavaScript, SQL programming;
• At least basic knowledge of TCP/IP-based protocols.

Would be a plus:
• Experience in bug-tracking (Jira) and SCM (SVN) systems;
• An ability to roughly understand Java and .Net source code;
• Knowledge and usage of traffic sniffers, sql profilers;
• Knowledge of Broadcast Video formats/specs;
• Using of Rozhet Carbon Coder, FlipFactory.
